The newspapers are reporting that in many states in India, like Karnataka, madhya pradesh there is a great shortage of cash in ATMs and bank branches, the bank employees are upset as they have to deal with angry customers who do not get the cash they require. The media has reported that the cash shortages are worse than the demonetization era, indicating that demonetization was not very successful in eliminating black money and corruption.

Though there was a major surge in digital transactions after demonetization, people are reverting back to cash in India as people do not trust the digital system, transactions and high levels of fraud. Additionally companies like google, tata are bribing ntro employees to monitor all laptop, computer activities of some citizens, who are then defamed as being mentally unsound for using the computer, internet connection for a longer period of time.

So instead of being labelled as mentally unsound, and losing all rights, savings, many people are preferring to use cash, which cannot be monitored by the ntro employees.
