It appears that someone very powerful has implemented cash less transactions in metro cities, people are expected to make all payments using qr codes on their smartphone.
Many people living abroad visiting india are shocked at the rapid changes, since many vendors are refusing to accept cash payment even for small items at the local stores. Till 2016,most of the shops were accepting cash payment.
For making the online payment, these indians or visitors have to download apps on their smartphone which some refuse to do since it may contain malware to steal the data from the smartphone.
