According to media reports Thane student Nirmay Pakhare, arrested for allegedly abducting and assaulting 16 year old 12th standard girl student in Nagpur, is proving to be a difficult person for the police to handle.
In addition to replying to the police only in English and refusing to reply in Hindi or Marathi, the thane BBA student Nirmay whose parents are doctors, is accusing the nagpur police of mistreating him, assaulting him and stealing Rs 70000 cash which he had with him.The police are denying his allegations.
Like Siya goyal from Pune accused of killing her fiancee ketan agarwal, nirmay pakhare from thane is also only 20 years old, yet he committed a horrific crime which has shocked people all over the state
Instead of closely monitoring harmless middle aged and older citizens mostly at home , government agencies should spend their resources, monitoring young people who are more reckless and dangerous with nirmay pakhare, following the footsteps of siya goyal and ayushi sharma, both accused of murder in the last few months.
